The selections of Colombia and Argentina, who will play the Copa America final this Sunday, are two teams that propose and play good football, said the coach of the “cafetero” team on Saturday, Nestor Lorenzo, who hopes that the hunger of his players can make an impact against a more well-oiled framework like that of the “albiceleste”.

Colombia will seek its second continental title on Sunday in Miami against Argentina, champion of America and the world.

“We need to be the best version of Colombina to beat the champion of everything. If we hadn’t performed well we wouldn’t be here. To beat Argentina you have to have the best version of yourself and multiply it,” Lorenzo said at a press conference.
“They are teams that propose, that want to play. Argentina is dangerous even if they don’t have the ball (…) They are two very similar teams, Argentina with a longer process and we are hungry”added the Argentine coach.
Lorenzo highlighted the role of the veteran James Rodriguez, who at 33 years old has been one of the great figures of the Copa América.
“James has had a very good tournament. We are lucky that he is in good shape, he has taken on the leadership of the team and the team has supported him and he brings that to this match. He is undoubtedly one of the best in the Cup (…) and hopefully tomorrow he will top it off with a very good performance,” he said.
The coach, meanwhile, said he will wait until the last minute to decide whether Richard Ríos, who was injured in the 1-0 victory over Uruguay in the semi-finals, will play.
“Ríos continues to evolve well, he is a little better. Tomorrow we will decide,” he said.
