Paris 2024 football has already defined the quarterfinals: when Argentina vs France play and the rest of the draw

The group stage closed today and the teams for the next round were thus defined, in search of the gold medal.

In Group A, France qualified with a perfect score and the United States came in second with 6 points.

From Group B, Morocco went on to the next round in first place, followed by Argentina (they had the same goal difference, but the Africans’ victory had a greater impact).

Egypt secured their place in the quarter-finals after collecting 7 points in Group C, while Spain finished second after collecting 6 points.

Finally, in Group D, Japan qualified with 9 points and Paraguay with 6 points.

Thus, the quarter-final matches will be: France – Argentina, Egypt – Paraguay, Morocco – United States and Japan – Spain.

All knockout matches will be played this Friday 2 July in four stadiums in different cities in France: the Parc des Princes, the Stade de Lyon, the Stade de Marseille and the Stade de Bordeaux.

The winners of each match will advance to the semi-finals and will have to play on Monday 5 August in the venues of Marseille and Lyon.

The winner will qualify for the final on August 9 at the Parc des Princes in search of the gold medal, while the losers will face each other the day before at the La Beaujoire stadium in Nantes in search of the bronze medal.

France vs. Argentina – Friday 2nd August at 4pm (Argentine time) at the Bordeaux stadium.

Egypt vs. Paraguay – Friday 2 August at 2:00 p.m. (Argentine time) at the Stade de Marseille.

Morocco vs. United States – Friday, August 2 at 10:00 (Argentine time) at the Parc des Princes in Paris.

Japan vs. Spain – Friday, August 2 at 12:00 (Argentine time) at the Lyon stadium.
