The Olympic rowing final with Oliver Zeidler was actually supposed to take place at 10:30 a.m. But there was a short-term postponement.
The single rowing final with world champion Oliver Zeidler will take place an hour later than planned, at 11:30 a.m. The organizers announced the short-term postponement this morning. The reason was delays in transporting the athletes from the Olympic Village to the competition venue. Zeidler himself was not affected by the breakdown of a bus to the Stade Nautique route, around 30 kilometers from Paris, with engine failure.
The decision in the single sculls will therefore only be made after the two races in the eight sculls, which will begin as scheduled at 10.50 a.m. (women) and 11.10 a.m. (men).
