Victoria Max-Theurer leaves Paris with her head held high

Ninth place in the team competition with her partner Stefan Lehfellner and Florian Bacher, 17th place in the individual final: Austria’s top dressage rider Victoria Max-Theurer made a lasting impression at Abegglen at her sixth and perhaps last Summer Olympics in front of the picturesque backdrop of the Palace of Versailles. It remains to be seen whether the 38-year-old from Rohr im Kremstal will compete again in Los Angeles in 2028.

“Now let’s enjoy the fact that we got to the point,” said Max-Theurer, who rode in front of the eyes of US rapper Snoop Dogg, who had dressed up appropriately for the horse festival.
