The Argentine sailors Matthew Majdalani and Eugenia Bosco will participate in the Nacra 17 Medal Racein which they have serious chances of getting the second medal for the Argentina in these Paris 2024 Olympic Games.

Majdalani and Bosco entered the Medal Race after finishing second in the overall standings after the 12 races, with 41 points.
In first place are Italians Ruggero Tita and Caterina Banti with 27 points, while New Zealanders Micah Wilkinson and Erica Dawson share third place with Britons John Gimson and Anna Burnet, with 47 each.
To win the gold medal, Majdalani and Bosco will have to finish at least eight positions ahead of the Italians, which seems highly unlikely, although they have a good chance of holding on to second place. To do so, they only need to finish two positions below the New Zealanders and the British.
