Franck Ribery only switched to US Salernitana last summer. His time at the Serie A club could soon be over. Apparently the French was only recently offered in Brazil. The president of the traditional Brazilian club Ceara SC, Robinson de Castro, reports that the 38-year-old Frenchman was offered for sale.
“Yesterday they called me and offered Ribery. I didn’t even know he was still playing,” said de Castro in an interview with The Parisian.

The now 38-year-old Ribery had only switched to Serie A promoted US Salernitana before the current season. Various media recently reported persistent money problems among the southern Italians, which is why Ribery would like to be struck off the payroll.
