Dep. Riestra turned it around against Sarmiento and won 2-1

The Malevos took all three points by beating El Verde in the match played this Saturday for the 12th date of the Argentina – Torneo Betano 2024 tournament. In the 10th minute of the first half, Joaquín Gho appeared to put the score at 1-0 in favor of Sarmiento through a play. Dep. Riestra turned it around after having started badly with two goals from plays by Braian Sánchez (40′ of the first half) and Jonathan Herrera (36′ of the second half).

Jonathan Herrera earned applause with his brilliant finish in the 36th minute of the second half. Braian Sánchez provided a cross and the striker kicked the ball into the back of the net.

In the 52nd minute of the second half, Dep. Riestra had the chance to take the lead with a shot from Jonathan Herrera that hit the post.

Facundo Tello Figueroa was in charge of supervising the order of play during the match.

In the next match, Los Malevos will face Unión away from home, while El Verde will play Lanús away from home.

The home team is now in eighth place in the championship with 18 points, while the visitors are in twentieth place with 13.
