After the European Championship in their own country, the DFB has announced a new squad for the upcoming Nations League games. National coach Julian Nagelsmann has to compensate for the resignations of Toni Kroos, Thomas Müller, İlkay Gündoğan and Manuel Neuer.
The only debutant in the German national team is Angelo Stiller from VfB Stuttgart. His teammate Alexander Nübel returns to the DFB squad and completes the goalkeeping duo. 20-year-old Aleksandar Pavlović from FC Bayern is the second returnee. Antonio Rüdiger is given a break to regenerate and Leroy Sané is currently recovering from a groin operation.
In the Nations League, the Germans will face Hungary on September 7 and the Netherlands on September 10. Both games start at 8:45 p.m.
