Amidst so much news and rumours about the return of the Gallagher brothers with Oasis, one question that has arisen among fans is how the band will be integrated. Throughout their activity, the Manchester band has had several changes in their formation, Liam and Noel being the only original members at the time of their separation.
Who will be the musicians accompanying Liam and Noel Gallagher on the return of Oasis?
According to reports, Paul ‘Bonehead’ Arthurs is already on board for the reunion and the former drummer Alan White hinted that he might join the tour over the weekend. Now, according to The Mirror, Gem Archerwho recently performed with Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds, is also “expected to agree a deal” to team up with the band.

Alan White was the drummer for Oasis from 1995 to 2004.
“None of the band members are 100% confirmed yet, but Gem seems very likely to join Bonehead,” a source told the tabloid. The key is to find people that both siblings get along with and respect.and ideally they would also have been in the band before.”

Gem Archer was the guitarist for Oasis between 1999 and 2009. He then took part in musical projects with Liam and recently with Noel.
“Gem ticks all those boxes and has also contributed to writing some Oasis songs. He’s an obvious target and it would be a huge surprise if he wasn’t on stage during the UK tour. He knows the songs, he knows the band inside out and he’s toured with the Gallaghers before so he knows what he’s getting into.”
Gem joined Oasis in 1999 after replacing Arthurs and played with the band until they split in 2009. He also performed with Beady Eye before joining Noel Gallagher in 2017.
