German prospects: This is what the Paralympics day in Paris brings

One of Germany’s highlights in athletics is on the program at the Stade de France. There could be further medals in dressage and cycling.

Athlete Markus Rehm is aiming for his fourth gold in the long jump at his fourth Paralympics in Paris. In the area surrounding Paris, cyclists have their next chance at medals. In Versailles, all eyes are on dressage rider Regine Mispelkamp.

The highlights of the Paralympics day

10:00 a.m.: Dressage rider Regine Mispelkamp is hoping for a medal in Versailles. Three years ago she won bronze.

10.03 a.m.: Andrea Zeyen-Giles wants to repeat her success in the individual time trial from the 2021 Paralympics on the cycling course in Clichy-sous-Bois.

8:29 p.m.: Prosthetic long jumper Markus Rehm is the big favorite for the gold medal. The Paralympic star was already unbeatable in 2012, 2016 and 2021.

The broadcasts of the competitions

ARD will broadcast live from 11:15 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and from 8:15 p.m. to 10:15 p.m. In addition, numerous competitions can be seen in individual streams on sportschau.de and zdf.de/sport.
