Progresar Scholarships will be paid through ANSES, and registration can be made on the official website of the National Government.
The Ministry of Human Capital together with the Secretariat of Education announced a new call to request the Progresar Scholarshipsgranted through the National Social Security Administration (ANSES). Those who apply will also see an impact of an increase in 75% in the monthly value.
The second registration period for the Mandatory Progress and Superior Progress lines of the September 5-30while the call for Progresar Trabajo extends until November 30thRequirements vary depending on each scholarship line, and applicants must meet age, family income and academic progress limits.

Who can access the Progresar Scholarships
Although all scholarships within the program have common requirements based on family income, depending on the need, they are also aimed at different people:
- Progress Mandatory: Aimed at young people aged 16 to 24 who are enrolled in compulsory education.
- Progress Higher: For students aged 17 to 24, with an extension to 30 for those who are advanced in their career, and with no age limit for the Nursing career.
- Progress Work: Open to those between 18 and 24 years old, with an extension to 40 years for those without formal work.
As a general rule, the family income must not exceed three times the Minimum Living Wage. Students must prove regular attendance and meet the academic progress required by each scholarship line. Recipients of Compulsory Progress between 16 and 18 years of age must also complete a vocational and work orientation course to receive the full scholarship.
How to apply for Progresar Scholarships
To apply for the Progresar Scholarships for the first time, you must go to the official website of the National Government and select the “Progresar” section. There, follow these steps:
- Choose your scholarship line.
- If you have already registered in previous years, log in with your username or CUIL and your password. Otherwise, you will need to create a new user.
- In Personal Data, fill in all the fields with your information and click Update data. If you are a disabled person or a refugee and you are over 24 years old, attach supporting documentation: CUD or official CONARE certificate.
- Then, under Survey, click the Survey button and fill out your information. The information you provide here is confidential and will not affect the award of the scholarship. When you have completed all the fields on the screen, click the Finish Survey button.
- Finally, in Academic Data, fill in all the fields with your academic information. Don’t forget to accept the terms and conditions.
- Then click on Finalize Form. Download the registration receipt and save it.
Amount of Progresar Scholarships in September 2024
Scholarships will increase, regardless of the specific program to which they belong, from $20,000 to $35,000 after a significant increase of 75%.
