ANSES continues with its scholarship for students: everything you need to know in September 2024

The national administration is strengthening support for students with the Becas Progresar program. Learn more.

The National Social Security Administration (ANSES)together with the Ministry of Human Capitalcontinues to grant the Progresar Scholarshipswhich offer an annual amount of $240,000, distributed in 12 installments of $20,000. This program not only provides financial support to students, but also includes additional benefits such as educational support, vocational guidance workshops and job training courses.

This year a new requirement was added for students in their final year of high school: complete the Vocational and Labor Orientation Course, part of the complementary activities of the programme. This course aims to help students continue their education at a higher level or facilitate their integration into the labour market, improving their professional position.

Who can access the Progresar Scholarships

The Progresar Scholarships are intended for students who meet the following requirements: requirements:

  • Be a regular student at an educational institution.
  • Be a native, naturalized, or foreign Argentine citizen with legal residence of at least two years and have a DNI.
  • Be between 16 and 24 years old.
  • Meet the academic conditions established in the Progresar Regulations.
  • Have the vaccination schedule complete or current, depending on age.

Requirements to access ANSES Progresar Scholarships

To receive the full benefit, students must prove their regular attendance. The social security agency pays 80% of the monthly amount during the year, and the remaining 20% ​​is retained until the corresponding certificates are presented..

In addition, there are different lines of scholarships, such as:

  • Progress Mandatory: For those who wish to complete their primary or secondary studies.
  • Progress Higher: For students seeking to complete tertiary or university studies.
  • Nursing Progress: Aimed at higher level nursing students.
  • Progress Work: Aimed at those who participate in vocational training courses recognized by INET.
