Newcastle United: 95 million euros for Leipzig’s Amadou Haidara?

Newcastle United are looking for a midfielder in their battle against relegation and are reportedly interested in RB Leipzig’s Amadou Haidara. That reports the Daily Mail.

With Kieran Trippier from Atletico Madrid (15 million euros) and Chris Wood (came from Burnley for 30 million euros), Newcastle hit the transfer market twice in January.

According to the report, the Magpies are planning to put together a total package of 95 million euros for the 23-year-old. Including transfer fee and EUR 190,000 weekly fee.

Exit clause over 40 million euros

In the summer, Haidara would apparently have a release clause of around 40 million euros – but Newcastle now needs the midfielder. In the Premier League you are currently in penultimate place.

Most recently, the club flashed numerous players – including Lucas Digne, Hugo Ekitike, Sven Botman, Diego Carlos and Dusan Vlahovic.
