The film topped review site Rotten Tomatoes’ list of the best horror movies of the year so far.
Late Night With The Devil is considered the best horror movie of 2024. The film, which was released in March, comes from the directors Colin and Cameron Cairnes and stars David Dastmalchianwho plays a late-night talk show host who invites a seemingly possessed girl onto his TV show.
It topped review site Rotten Tomatoes’ list of the best horror films of the year so far with a 97 percent approval rating.
He was closely followed in second place Oddity by Irish writer and director Damian McCarthywho previously wrote and directed Caveat in 2020.
Critics praised the independent film that tells the story of a blind medium (Carolyn Bracken) who mourns the death of her twin sister Dani (also Bracken, in a dual role) and tries to uncover how she was murdered, earlier this summer. It has now earned a 96 percent approval rating.
In third place was the French horror film Infestedwhile A Quiet Place: Day One completed the top 10.

Earlier this year, Late Night With The Devil grossed a whopping $666,666 in just one day during its opening weekend.
While it received praise from critics, it also sparked controversy for the use of AI in creating some of the images used in the film, with many sharing criticism on social media.
