A story of passion and tradition
The journey began 70 years ago when Jesús Pernas and his wife Lola arrived from Spain with dreams and ambition. They set up a store in Palermo that quickly became a meeting point for neighbors. Over time, this place evolved, and in 2003, under the vision of businessman Martín Sammartino, it was reborn as Lo de Jesús, a space that honors the Argentine grill and one of the country’s most important drinks, wine.


A wine sanctuary
In 2016, La Malbequería opened its doors as Argentina’s first Malbec-specialized wine bar. With more than 350 labels carefully selected by sommelier Fabricio Portelli, La Malbequería offers a federal tour of all the country’s wine-growing regions. It is a unique space that invites both experts and aficionados to enjoy the richness of Argentine wine in a setting that combines Andalusian architecture with a charming cobbled courtyard.

Under the direction of renowned chef Darío Gualtieri, Lo de Jesús offers an incomparable culinary experience. Each dish is a masterpiece that combines tradition and modernity, using local and organic ingredients to enhance the flavors. The cuts of meat, from Hereford and Aberdeen Angus breeds, are meticulously selected and aged to guarantee exceptional quality. From raw ham and potato omelette to T-Bone and Tomahawk, the gastronomic proposal is a journey through Argentine flavors.

- Jesus’ Hall: With capacity for up to 20 people, this main room reflects the style of a classic Argentine tavern. Here, warmth and tradition blend to create an intimate and welcoming atmosphere.
- Path of Jesus: Facing the classic-style façade, the sidewalk offers a large space to enjoy outdoors, with capacity for 50 people. It is ideal for those who wish to enjoy the vibrant atmosphere of the neighborhood while tasting the flavors of the restaurant.
- La Malbequeria Hall: Elegance and comfort come together in this two-part room, decorated with labels of Malbec, the house specialty. With capacity for 30 people, it is perfect for more intimate dinners or get-togethers with friends.
- La Malbequería path: With a modern but understated style, this sidewalk is a tribute to Malbec, with bottles decorating the surroundings. With capacity for 75 people, it offers a relaxed but sophisticated atmosphere.
- Luigi Bosca Hall: On the second floor of the restaurant, this private room is ideal for corporate meetings, training sessions or work sessions. With capacity for 15 people, it has a Smart TV and a small recreation area.
- Winter Garden: This semi-private room, with capacity for 26 people, is perfect for informal meetings that require privacy. Its direct connection to the glass-enclosed patio adds a touch of nature and tranquility.
- Jesus’s Patio: With a classic style, cobbled floor and a beautiful garden, this patio offers a natural and relaxed space with all the comforts of a restaurant. It can accommodate up to 34 people and is ideal for outdoor events.
