Director General of the Russian Figure Skating Federation (FFKKR) Alexander Kogan on Saturday, January 15, said in an interview with Sport-Express that he received bright positive emotions from the performance of Russian figure skaters at the European Championships in Tallinn.

“Fiction, delight, amazement – only such emotions after watching the performances of Valieva, Shcherbakova and Trusova. I received a lot of positive emotions from the performances of our girls, who occupied the entire podium today. We watched a wonderful picture: three Russian flags were raised simultaneously in the arena. We all felt proud, it was very nice,” he stressed.

Kogan expressed the hope that “everything will work out” at the Beijing Olympics, too.

Earlier that day, Kamila Valieva became the European champion in women’s singles. Anna Shcherbakova and Alexandra Trusova took the second and third prizes, respectively. So, the entire prize podium of the women’s skating championship was occupied by Russian figure skaters.
