The Minister of Deregulation and Transformation of the State, Federico Sturzeneggergave his opinion on different current issues such as the university claim and the permission granted to the provinces to import medicines. Furthermore, the official announced measures that will be taken regarding customs procedures and passenger transportation.

In television statements, Sturzenegger first ratified the permission granted to the provinces to import medicines. “It is a great example of how we have chopped the coconut. “We simply confirm to Governor Alfredo Cornejo that he is authorized to do so, although the law has allowed it for 50 years.”
“What he does seems extraordinary to me. I don’t know how much, but you will get the drugs cheaper. We need people who are encouraged to challenge the status quo, let’s hope they do well,” said the minister regarding Cornejo’s decision.
Regarding the possible news that the Government will announce next week, Sturzenegger announced that some measures will seek to deregulate customs activity in the country, with changes in the streamlining procedures and reducing costs. “The new measure will imply a reductions in expenses for those who import and an improvement in the price for those who export”, he assured.

According to the minister, important measures regarding imports and exports will be announced next week.
On the other hand, the head of the Deregulation and Transformation of the State portfolio explained that they will also present changes “very significant“referring to passenger transportation. Regarding this, he explained: “we have already done the loading part and then it will come to the navigation part.”
Sturzenegger also referred to the Federal University March, about which he assured: “n“or it was in defense of public education, it was in defense of university contracts.”
