The national team goes into the Nations League game against Bosnia-Herzegovina with an eleven that has changed to five positions. National coach Nagelsmann has two newcomers and two returnees.
With international debutants Alexander Nübel in goal and Tim Kleindienst in attack, the German national soccer team will contest the Nations League game in Zenica against Bosnia-Herzegovina. National coach Julian Nagelsmann also has Bayern professional Serge Gnabry in the starting line-up this evening, who is playing for Germany for the first time this year after a few injuries.
Due to numerous absences, Nagelsmann changed the DFB team to a total of five positions compared to the 2-2 draw in the last group game against the Netherlands. Defense chief Antonio Rüdiger, who took a break in September and is playing his 75th international match at the Bilino Polje stadium, is also back in the team. “We didn’t want to change a lot. The core is still the same, at least of the players who were there. We had to rebuild. I’m not worried that we’ll play badly,” said Nagelsmann on TV station RTL.
The German team wants to defend its lead in Group 3 of the A-League with a win. Next Monday there will be the second leg against the strongest group opponent Holland in Munich.
