La Renga appeared in Naples: fans raised a flag at Maradona’s sanctuary

The popular band is on tour in the Old Continent and attendees recorded an impressive moment in the southern Italian city.

La Rengaone of the most prominent musical groups in the country, is tour in Europe and this Saturday they gave a concert in the Italian city of Naples. The fans, in advance of the recital, they made a flag in the sanctuary dedicated to Diego Armando Maradonasymbol of the city and the Napoli club.

The images of the moment quickly went viral on social networks, with the place full of Argentine flags and the attendees singing various songs by the band, as well as other themes.

Maradona is considered a hero in the southern Italian city, where he lived for eight years between 1984 and 1991, and won four titles for the Neapolitan team, which had never won any competition.

In one of the videos you can see Tete Iglesias, the band’s bassist, with the fans celebrating an incredible day in the European country. During the presentation, attendees showed the same fervor that characterizes the Argentine band’s shows.

How the La Renga tour continues

La Renga’s European tour consists of three presentations, the first being in Mallorca, Spain, last Wednesday, October 16. Then, they moved to Italy for this Saturday’s recital, and next Wednesday, October 23, they will close the stretch through the Old Continent by performing in the capital of Spain, Madrid. There they will play live at the Wizink Center in Madrid.

After their return, they will have a recital in Tucumán on Saturday, November 23, in addition to passing through Cuba within the framework of the Havana International Festival of New Latin American Cinemawhere they will have the screening of the film ”Totally Possessed” on December 6.
