Learn about this function so you don’t have to spend awkward moments when paying for your ticket.
The government launched a new way to pay for the bus ticket: The SUBE Digital. This works like a SUBE Card, allowing you to make payments without the need for the physical card. This works only on cell phones with NFC technology and Android 8 or higher, and is independent of the physical card. To use it, you need to download the SUBE application and register.
The content you want to access is exclusive to subscribers.
This tool has interesting functions, such as the option to Set up a notification for when your balance is low. I know the step by step.

How the negative balance of the digital SUBE works
The negative value of the SUBE used to be the equivalence of four minimum tickets, but after the rate increase, compliance was stopped. According to resolution 12/2024 published in the Official Gazette, the amount could not be higher due to technical problems.
Currently, the maximum negative value that can be had on the physical card is $480.
On the other hand, in the SUBE Digital Card It has a different operation: as it is easier to load, “the digital card does not need an emergency exit,” they announced from Nación Servicios.
To be able to pay with SUBE Digital without the full amount, it is necessary that the card have a balance greater than $0 at the time of payment. If this is negative, the machine will reject the payment.
As long as it is positive, the card will accept the payment, despite not covering the total.
