He Desert Rock Resort, located in Saudi Arabiais a luxury tourist complex that will be completely integrated into the mountainous desert landscape. It is designed to offer a unique experience, since the villas and suites are dug directly into the stonesallowing guests to enjoy uninterrupted views of the horizon and desert surroundings. Scheduled to open in late 2024, this resort is part of the country’s ambitious Red Sea Project.

Guests can walk through the stunning landscapeuse buggies and stargazing as part of the site-wide activities programme. Additionally, it was confirmed to have state-of-the-art facilities, including a world-class spa and gym, remote destination dining areas and a lagoon-shaped oasis.

The resort will have 64 units, including 54 villas and 10 rooms hotel, all designed to minimize environmental impact and harmonize with the natural environment. In addition to luxurious facilities such as a spa, fitness center and lagoon oasis, visitors will be able to participate in activities such as hiking, dune buggy driving and stargazing, taking advantage of the clear desert skies.

The location and design also reduce noise and light pollution, allowing guests to enjoy a peaceful environment, too. the resort will have an artificial lagoon which will act as an oasis in the middle of the desert, providing a feeling of freshness and relaxation. This lagoon will be a perfect place to rest and enjoy the sun in a desert environment.

Sustainability is a key component of this project. Materials extracted from the site will be reusedsuch as stone and sand, to build the resort’s infrastructure, and Systems will be implemented for water retention and distributionwith the aim of regenerating native flora and conserving natural resources. The project aims to achieve high energy and environmental efficiency certifications, such as LEED.
