According to a new report from BBC News, two men and three women have filed civil lawsuits against the hip-hop mogul in federal court in New York. They accuse him of sexually assaulting them at several parties throughout the United States.
The disgraced rapper was arrested in New York last month and subsequently accused of sex trafficking, organized crime and transportation for prostitution. He pleaded not guilty to all charges.
Diddy was later denied bail after being offered $50 million bail and was reportedly placed on suicide watch while awaiting trial. The artist has since appealed against the denial of bail. His trial date is scheduled for May 5 next year..
Although Diddy pleaded not guilty to all charges, his lawyers also dismissed the allegations as “clear attempts to gain publicity.” And they added: “Mr. Combs has never sexually assaulted anyone, neither adult nor minor, neither man nor woman.”
The lawsuits against Diddy
The five new lawsuits allege that Diddy, or his contract associates, spiked alcoholic beverages at various events, reportedly causing dizziness and nausea. In several of the lawsuits, he is accused of raping them, forcing them to perform oral sex or aggressively groping them.
According to court documents, it is alleged that Combs, as well as another unnamed male celebrity, 13-year-old girl raped at VMA after-party in 2000. According to another court filing, Diddy is alleged to have drugged and raped an independent music artist at a party, and it is alleged that she woke up in pain and with marks on her arms, suggesting she had been tied up with ropes.
In a third, a man alleges that the hip-hop artist exposed himself and grabbed the man’s genitals in a “rough” manner.
The fourth court filing alleges that an anonymous celebrity personal trainer saw many high-profile celebrities participating in group sexual activities at a party where Combs allegedly sexually assaulted him. The alleged incident took place at his Hollywood Hills home in 2022 and court documents allege Diddy stripped the coach and performed “non-consensual oral sex” on him.
The fifth new lawsuit comes from a woman who alleges she was drugged at one of Combs’ parties and woke up naked in her hotel room bed while Diddy was making a phone call in the corner of the room.
Combs is in federal custody at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, New York. He is expected to appear in court on December 18. According to the Rolling Stone portal, He could face up to 15 years in prison if convicted.
