Izvestia has chosen its line-up for the VTB United League All-Star Game

Izvestia has traditionally taken part in determining the composition of the Stars of Russia and Stars of the World basketball teams, which will play in the sixth All-Star Game of the VTB United League in Moscow on February 20.

Earlier, the results of the vote of fans were summed up and an extended list of 60 candidates became known. It was necessary to make a choice according to two rules: five players in the back row and five players in the front row, no more than two players from one club in each team.

Stars of Russia: Alexey Shved (CSKA), Dmitry Kulagin (Zenit), Ivan Strebkov (NN), Evgeny Kolesnikov (Avtodor), Vladislav Yemchenko (Lokomotiv Kuban) / Anton Astapkovich (NN) , Andrey Martyuk (Lokomotiv Kuban), Andrey Vorontsevich (UNICS), Joel Bolomboy (CSKA), Sergey Karasev (Zenit).

Stars of the World: Errick McCollum (Lokomotiv Kuban), Philip Scrubb (Avtodor), Anthony Hickey (Astana), Isaiah Kanan (UNICS), Jordan Loyd (Zenith), Mario Hezonya (UNICS) , Dragan Apich (Zelena Gora), Jordan Miki (Zenith), Alan Williams (Lokomotiv Kuban), Tornike Shengelia (CSKA).

Last year, the meeting ended with the victory of the Stars of Russia over the Stars of the World (183:162), who took the lead in the face-to-face confrontation (3:2 after five meetings). The most valuable player (MVP) of the match was recognized as the ex-captain of the Russian national team Vitaly Fridzon, who scored a record 57 points.12:12
