The FBI did not immediately comment on the incident, however, together with the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) issued a joint statement in which they assure that “The United States government is investigating unauthorized access to commercial telecommunications infrastructure by actors affiliated with the People’s Republic of China.”
