Timothée Chalamet surprised a group of her fans by appearing in her own stunt competition in New York City.
The star of Dune and Wonka She was caught hiding under a mask and a baseball cap in the crowd in Washington Square Park in midtown Manhattan on Sunday.
The actor snuck into the middle of the group of Chalamet impersonators who were gathered, before finally revealing his identity.
According to FM104, almost 900 people responded to the invitation to the contest and several of them uploaded photographs of their supposed resemblance to the 28-year-old actor. The winner of the contest will receive a $50 cash prize and a trophy, although it is unclear if Chalamet himself is eligible.

Chalamet will play Bob Dylan in the next biopic A Complete Strangerwhich will chronicle the musician’s controversial switch from acoustic to electric guitar in the mid-60s.
The film will be released in US cinemas on December 25, and in the UK on January 17. Edward Norton plays the folk singer Pete Seeger, Elle Fanning she plays Dylan’s girlfriend, Sylvie Russo, and Monica Barbaro plays Joan Baez.
The film is directed by James Mangoldwho also directed the acclaimed biopic of Johnny Cash Walk the Line. Mangold also co-wrote the film with Jay Cocks (Gangs of New York, The Age of Innocence).
