A young woman decided to take a few days off and rent an apartment, but she was greatly surprised when she found a series of unusual rules imposed by the owner of the place. Astonished and increasingly outraged by the additional rules that were appearing, the young woman chose to share the experience on her social networks.

Flor, the affected tenant, published a screenshot on her X account (formerly Twitter) in which you could see all the rules imposed by the owner. “The rules of the department we are staying in (not a joke),” Flor wrote in her post, which quickly went viral, reaching more than six million people.

Among the most striking restrictions were: “Do not use colored glasses (plastic), saucepans, shovel (the use of a broom is allowed), scissors and no violet-colored objects in the house (for Feng Shui reasons). In addition, you can only turn on the light 10 times a day to preserve the light keys.

An unusual situation that sparked outrage

After seeing the impact of her publication, Flor added a comment clarifying that all prohibited items were in the apartment. “I didn’t clarify, but everything that says it can’t be used is available… there is a drawer with pots and pans. There is also the shovel and the broom. The colored glasses are the ones in the photo and, of course, we are using them “he explained in an ironic tone.

As if that were not enough, another of the clauses warned: “Do not lock the door from the inside, as entry will be blocked even with the code“. Flor questioned this rule in her publication: “In the morning they sent this… Don’t we have to close the door so they can open it from the outside?”

The unusual regulation sparked multiple reactions on the social network, where several users expressed their disbelief and others decided to take it with humor. Among the notable comments were: “Don’t stop there, it’s simple and if they didn’t have the rules published beforehand, don’t even worry”, “The light thing is easy. Turn it on and leave it on all day. You just use the button twice” and “I imagine them having dinner in the dark because they already used the light buttons 10 times KJSJSJA.”

Flor’s post not only generated laughter, but also reflections on the unusual conditions and rules that some people impose on temporary rentals. Without a doubt, this list will remain in the memory of all who read it.
