Manchester United striker Cristiano Ronaldo has reacted furiously to being substituted in the Premier League game against Brentford FC (). The Portuguese had to make way for defender Harry Maguire in the 72nd minute and also showed his displeasure about it.
When his number ‘7’ was called up for substitution midway through the second half with the Red Devils 2-0 up, Ronaldo put his hands on his hips and then slunk off. Once outside, there was a brief handshake with coach Ralf Rangnick before he swore at his teammates and finally threw his jacket on the floor.
