Russian fighter Vyacheslav Datsik told how he is preparing for a fight with boxer Zelemkhan Dukaev, also known by the nickname Machine Gunner. On January 20, the REN TV channel announced the preparation of athletes for the fight as part of the “Boxing Evening”.
Datsik said that in a fight with Dukaev, he will have to get away from the usual heavy blows.
“In the battle with the Machine Gunner, this blow will be completely useless, so it will be impossible to hit him, so I am learning to work a lot, serially and technically,” said Datsik.
Dukaev believes that it is not necessary to use a lot of force to defeat an opponent. In combat, the Heavy is able to stay relaxed yet focused, read the enemy and react quickly.
“All the work will be done to give him more misses – this will confuse him, I’m sure, and psychologically put pressure on him,” Dukaev said.
Boxer Maxim Babanin believes that in four rounds of three minutes, the opponents will be able to reveal their strengths.
“Zelemkhan will move on his feet, he will want to wear him out. And Slava needs to clearly develop his plan somewhere you throw out a light blow, and then the accent is already, ”Babanin said.
The difference in weight among rivals is impressive: Datsik weighs 120 kg, and Dukaev – 80 kg.
REN TV will show the show “Boxing Evening” on Friday, January 28th.
There are three fights in the main card for the spectators. Datsik and Dukaev, Pavel Shulsky and Nikita Bachin, as well as Maxim Novoselov and Max Shcherbakov will meet in the ring.
