Draisaitl scores after 20 seconds: Oilers win in NHL
Since Connor McDavid’s injury there has been even more pressure on Leon Draisaitl – it doesn’t seem to bother the Cologne player. Against Calgary he scored after just 20 seconds and led the Oilers to victory.
One goal, two assists, three scorer points and the next win thanks to Leon Draisaitl: The Edmonton Oilers’ upward trend in the NHL continues. Edmonton won 4-2 away from home against the Calgary Flames. Draisaitl made it 1-0 after just 20 seconds and prepared the goals to make it 3-2 and 4-2 after the hosts equalized to make it 2-2.
For the Oilers, who started the NHL season very poorly, it was now their fourth win from the last five games despite the injury to star player Connor McDavid. This means that Edmonton has now won half of the games and is right in the middle of the fight for the playoff places.
Reichel successful with Chicago Blackhawks
Lukas Reichel also had reason to be happy. As on Saturday in the overtime win against the Los Angeles Kings, he also prepared a goal for the Chicago Blackhawks in the 4-2 win against the Anaheim Ducks, an hour’s drive south. It was the first time this season for the guests that they won two games in a row. Reichel prepared the 3-0 and now has a total of five assists in nine appearances.
