With the aim of streamlining processes and aligning regulatory policies for activities linked to agriculture, livestock and fishing, the Ministry of Agriculture decided to repeal 19 regulations that were issued by the government of Alberto Fernández, both by the same agency.

According to the Resolution 1129/2024 published in the Official Gazette, “it is essential to align the regulation policies of activities linked to agriculture, livestock and fishing, proceeding to a true de-bureaucratization and simplification of processes in relation to the National State, producers, exporters and importers”, explained the Ministry of Economy.


On the other hand, they clarify that it is necessary to deepen and unify changes and regulations, in order to achieve “simplicity and reasonableness of the process.”

In that sense, some of the 18 repealed regulations include the following points:
- The registration of a previous DDJJ for Meat Export Operations (DJEC) is eliminated for exports of meat products and by-products.
- The possibility for human or legal persons that were registered in the Single Registry of the Agri-Food Chain (RUCA) to form a financial assistance trust to guarantee supply to the domestic market and fair prices was eliminated.
- The National Program for the Promotion of Official Quality Certificates in Argentine Foods “Add value” is eliminated to encourage improvements in food-producing SMEs.
- A rule that distributed dairy products and derivatives to Venezuela was eliminated.
- A registration and DDJJ model was eliminated for the interjuridicconal transportation of workers related to agricultural and fishing production, distribution and marketing.
- The initiative promoted by the Ministry of Agriculture “initiative 200,000,000 tons of cereals, oilseeds and legumes” was eliminated, which proposed putting into operation a coordination with the objective of increasing exports.
- The gender perspective mainstreaming unit was eliminated in the Ministry of Agriculture.
- The approval of parameters for the future allocation of the annual quota of boneless, fresh, chilled or frozen beef, among other regulations, was eliminated.
- The economic compensation for small and medium-sized wool producers in the Patagonian region that was financed with the Export Increase Fund was eliminated.
