In which states do they vote on abortion?

There are ten States that will decide whether to approve amendments to their constitutions to allow the voluntary interruption of pregnancy or facilitate its access. Where they vote and what they decide.

  • New York. Vote yes on Proposition 1, Equal Protection of the Law Amendment. This will prohibit discrimination based on “pregnancy outcomes and reproductive care and autonomy.” This would strengthen the right to abortion, according to its defenders.

  • Missouri. Vote for Amendment 3, Reproductive Freedom Rights Initiative. Overturns prohibitions or restrictions that block different levels of access to abortion.
  • Maryland. Vote on Question 1, Right to Reproductive Freedom Amendment. It enshrines reproductive freedom in its constitution.
  • Mountain. Vote yes on Constitutional Initiative 128, Abortion Rights Initiative. They include measures to maintain access to abortion.
  • Nebraska. Vote yes on Nebraska Initiative 439 Abortion Rights Initiative or vote NO on 434. Repeals bans or restrictions that block different levels of access to abortion.
  • Snowfall. Vote yes on question 6, Abortion Rights Initiative. It establishes that there is no government interference in abortion issues, leaving the decision exclusively in the pregnant person and a health professional.
  • South Dakota. Vote yes on Constitutional Amendment G, Abortion Rights Initiative. Overturns prohibitions or restrictions that block different levels of access to abortion.
