Directors of the Toronto Stock Exchange met with the San Juan mining ecosystem

It was an exclusive presentation on the opportunities of the mining sector in the current context and growth prospects. Executives highlighted San Juan’s potential in the global mining industry.

Directors of the Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX) presented in San Juan about the prospects and opportunities for the mining sector. It was at a meeting organized by the Banco San Juan and the Mining Unit of Grupo Petersen which brought together representatives of the regional mining ecosystem, provincial and national leaders of the sector, businessmen, academic authorities, chambers and advanced students of the mining sector, offering a space for high-level exchange and learning.

Dean McPherson, Director of Global Mining Business Development at Toronto Stock Exchange and TSX Venture Exchange and Guillaume Légaré, Director in South America of the most emblematic Stock Exchange in mining matters, toasted at the Banco San Juan Business Center in the provincial capital an exclusive presentation on the mining sector opportunities in the current context and growth prospects, highlighting the potential of San Juan in the global mining industry.

Silvina BellantigGeneral Manager of Banco San Juan, highlighted the importance of the visit of the directors of the Toronto Stock Exchange to the Province: “These meetings allow us to bring our clients and allied institutions closer, direct contact with global leaders and open doors to a sustainable and competitive future for the San Juan mining industry.”

He also reaffirmed the institution’s commitment to the development of the sector through a business division dedicated especially to serving mining companies and the needs of their value chain.

Provincial ministers participated in the event Juan Pablo Perea Fontivero (Mining); Gustavo Fernández (Production, Work and Innovation); Silvia Fuentes (Education); Julio Ríos Gómez representing the presidency of the Argentine Mining Geological System; the mayors of Iglesia and Jáchal and provincial and municipal authorities of the Executive and Legislative Branch of the Province and directors of the National University of San Juan.
