Ex-sports presenter
Jörg Wontorra had to go to prison for three hours in Spain
Former football presenter Jörg Wontorra was briefly taken into custody in Marbella. The reason was a car crime.
Jörg Wontorra has been known in Germany as a sports reporter and presenter for decades. The father of Laura Wontorra, who also works as a television presenter, was briefly arrested in Spain. “I’ve already experienced a lot. But I wouldn’t have expected that at 75 I would still be able to see the inside of a prison cell,” . But how could this happen?
According to the report, Wontorra was in Marbella for a golf match between sports journalists and former professional footballers that he was organizing. When he checked into a hotel in the Spanish city, an alarm apparently went off. In the morning he was arrested by police officers and taken to prison.
Actor Pedro Pascal’s sister steals the show
November 14, 2024: Pedro Pascal’s sister steals the show
British director Ridley Scott achieved huge success with the film “Gladiator” in 2000. The historical epic starring Russell Crowe won five Oscars. Now Scott has filmed a sequel: “Gladiator II” celebrated its world premiere in London. One of the stars appearing in the film is Chilean actor Pedro Pascal. He posed on the red carpet with his sister Lux – and she almost stole the show from the 49-year-old. The 32-year-old wore a black dress with a train and an XL neckline in the hip area. Lux Pascal also works as an actress and is committed to the “LGBTQIA+” community. In 2021, she spoke about her own transition in an interview with the Chilean magazine “Ya”. Pedro Pascal has always supported his sister and has often accompanied her to events. “She is and has always been one of the strongest personalities I have ever met,” the actor told Esquire magazine.

Jörg Wontorra: The police summons did not reach him
The reason for the arrest? It is said that the presenter was involved in a traffic offense around six months ago and was not summoned by the police. After about three hours, the cell door opened again after Wontorra reportedly contacted a Spanish lawyer who is now dealing with the matter.
Even around four years ago, playing golf didn’t bring him any luck. “I slipped while looking for a golf ball, stumbled and then fell three meters down an embankment,” . “Unfortunately, I landed with my forehead on the gravel and had to be stitched and stapled in the hospital.” Fortunately, just like he did now, he was able to leave the clinic quickly.
