Russian biathletes took second place in the relay at the World Cup in Antholz. The competition took place on Saturday, January 22.
The victory was won by the Norwegian team. The third was the team of France, reports “Sport-Express”.
The Russians included Valeria Vasnetsova, Kristina Reztsova, Irina Kazakevich, Uliana Nigmatullina. The total time behind the Norwegian team was 24.6 seconds.
Earlier in the day, German biathlete Benedikt Doll won the men’s mass start at the Biathlon World Cup.
Russian Anton Babikov became the tenth. His compatriot Eduard Latypov, after the first shooting, was in the group of leaders, but at the second firing line he made four misses at once and dropped out of the fight.
On January 19, Babikov won the individual race at the pre-Olympic stage of the World Cup in Antholz. The second in the individual race was the Norwegian Tarja Be, the third – another Russian, Karim Khalili.
