On Saturday, November 9, at the corner of Grecia and Tagle, Lanús Oeste, more than 2,000 people they enjoyed the ECEA Marathon 2024. It was an incredible outdoor party attended by thousands of people, with free admission. In the ECEA Marathon people don’t run but their hearts race during an unforgettable day. From a giant stage and spectacular sound, the ECEA community lives a solidarity and cultural experience of excellent quality in which the students and their families are the protagonists. The Marathon had its mascot, a giraffe, which appears in the metal medal that awarded to all the boy marathon runners.

To train together in values of solidarity and sensitivity towards others. We are social and community builders with the El Alba Home in Longchamps that cares for children and adolescents with violated rights.

What happens in the Marathon?
For 4 memorable hours there are different moments and activities at the same time. At the opening, we were moved by the singing, the choreo and the joy of the children of Hogar el Alba who performed the “Party in the Desert.” The hands were red from applauding so much.
ECEA has among its teaching pillars education for peace and the rejection of all forms of violence. In the Marathon there was a time of prayer, song and the release of doves for the children of the world. We ask for peace, and the good of children who live in situations of migration, hunger and abuse.
And he arrived Noah’s Ark Musical. Tagle Street became a privileged setting to enjoy this story. ECEA produced a original playlist, 5 songs premiered at the 2024 Marathon. “Noah builds the ark” and “the animals rise” were the first episodes performed by the boys from ECEA Garden.
