The deputy of the Socialist Party Esteban Paulon He filed a complaint with his benchmate, Mónica Fein, against the brand new group of libertarian leaders “The forces of Heaven”which defined itself as “the armed wing of La Libertad Avanza.” The presentation was against Daniel Parisini -better known as “El Gordo Dan” -, Agustín Laje, Alejandro Álvarez, Agustín Romo and Nahuel Sotelo for “incitement to hatred, public intimidation and incitement to collective violence.”
As the legislator argued in the complaint, “in a constitutional democracy, expressions that promote the use of violence as a political tool are absolutely incompatible with the fundamental principles of the rule of law. The organization of a group that calls itself ‘armed arm’ or ‘praetorian guard’ is not only contrary to social peace, but represents a concrete threat to the rights and guarantees of all citizens”.
During the party’s launch event, which took place last Saturday in San Miguel, “El Gordo Dan” assured that they seek to be the “armed arm of Freedom Advances”. With slogans such as “God, country and family” or “Property and freedom”, the influencer assured that they will be the “praetorian guard of President Javier Milei” and pointed out to the libertarian leadership: “We are your most loyal soldiers, those who have been there since beginning and we will be there until the end.” Laje, for his part, pointed out: “On one side are those of us who defend life and human dignity; and on the other side are the left-handed sons of bitches… The least we can do with them is insult them and if they want to cry, let them cry.”.
Paulón considered that the event had a “fascist and LGBT-hating aesthetic.”
At the same time, he warned that “the symbolic and discursive load of the expressions issued by Parisini, in his capacity as a member of La Libertad Avanza and politically responsible for the creation of this space, is especially serious because they come from a political reference with the capacity to influence in social and political sectors, in turn validate and normalize violence in the political sphere: a message that can have direct repercussions on the behavior of the followers of this movement”.
They launched “The Forces of Heaven”: the objectives of the party
Government supporters, including officials, leaders and social media figures, launched a new political force called “The forces of heaven”with the aim of support the management of President Javier Milei and promote his project at the national level.
The presentation of the new party took place this Saturday in Saint Michael and had the presence of figures from space such as Agustín Laje, Parisini, the Buenos Aires deputy Agustín Romo; the Secretary of Worship and Civilization, Nahuel Sotelo; the national deputy Santiago Santurio; the Undersecretary of University Policies, the “Profe” Alejandro Alvarez; the reference known as “Sagaz”, among others.
Sotelo, one of the speakers on Saturday night, highlighted the importance of winning “the cultural battle” in Argentina to leave behind discussions like that of the Agenda 2030 on the environment and the issues that interest the “left”.
For its part, Dull said: “Do you know why we did it? Because Victory in war does not depend on the number of soldiers, but on the forces that come from heaven“.
