The National Health Superintendency deregistered more than 50 prepaid companies after a request to regularize a series of documentation and the companies did not submit the presentation within the appropriate deadlines.
The measure was taken by the Government through Resolution 4309/2024 published this Wednesday in the Official Gazette. There it was confirmed that 54 companies prepaid medicine did not present the required documentation before the regulatory bodywhich includes registers, plans, financial statements and booklets.
In article 1 of the resolution it was established: “Deregister the prepaid medicine entities listed in the Annex (IF-2024-118964316-APN-CRAS#SSS) which forms an integral part of this document, canceling the provisional registration of said entities in the National Registry of Prepaid Medicine Entities (RNEMP).”
For this reason, the Information Systems Management and Coordination of Insurance Agent Records so that they intervene and proceed to cancel the registration numbers provisionally granted to the prepaid medicine entities included in the Annex.
Since one of the functions of the Superintendency of Health Services is to keep the National Registry of prepaid medicine companies updated, In addition to evaluating the background, responsibility, and verifying the technical conditions, financial solvency, management capacity and performance level of said entities, measures were taken to identify and supervise these companies.
After the stipulated period for regularizing documentation had expired, the Executive decided to deregister 54 companies. In this regard, it was detailed that the reason was “non-compliance with a significant number of entities required to provide the information required by the aforementioned regulations.”
The list published in the Official Gazette includes, among others, the following companies: Magna Salud SRL, OMSA Prosal SA, Sanatorio San Jerónimo Norte SRL, Emergencies Médicas Santa María SA, Medicina Asistencial Privada SRL, Medycin SRL, IE Emergencies Chivilcoy SA, Emesec Medical Emergencies Esteban Echeverría SA, Compañía Global de Salud SA, Vivir Medicina Privada SA, Médica SRL, Ushuaia Medical Emergency Service SRL, Siempre SRL, Merli Elva Ana and Lanter Patricio Eduardo SH, Roma Salud SA, Opsal SA, Master Med System SRL, Coinsurance Total SRL, Centro Médico del Parque SDH, Miter Medical Network SA, Salud Total SA, Confederada Salud SRL, Nova Pampa Salud SRL, Quince, MPN Medical International SA, Compañía Mediterránea de Salud SA, Gerenciar Salud SRL, Medicin Care Servicios Médicos Domiciliarios SA, Prepaga SRL, AIO Care SRL, Medicina Privada San Juan Bautista SA, Centro Salud SA, Medicina Argentina SA and SID Medical SA.
