The national government announced an increase in ANSES benefits in December 2024, along with the payment of the half bonus.

The National Social Security Administration (ANSES) and the Government of Javier Milei confirmed an increase in 2.7% for retirements, pensions and allowances in December 2024. This adjustment is aligned with the Consumer Price Index (CPI) October, according to data recently published by INDEC. Thus, the minimum asset will reach $259,624.35not including the extraordinary bonus that will be granted that month, the amount of which has not yet been officially defined, but is estimated at $70,000frozen since the beginning of the year.

In addition to the increase, in December the half bonusan additional sum that represents half of the best monthly income of the second semester. This payment will be essential to complement the beneficiaries’ income in the last month of the year.

ANSES increase in December 2024

The increase of 2.7% will impact the following benefits:

  • Minimum retirement: $259,624.35
  • Maximum retirement: $1,747,024.02
  • Universal Benefit for the Elderly (PUAM): $207,699.23
  • Non-Contributory Pensions (PNC): $181,736.83
  • Universal Basic Benefit (PBU): $118,766.14
  • Universal Child Allowance (AUH): $93,289.60
  • Universal Pregnancy Allowance (AUE): $93,289.60

In the case of the bonus, retirees and pensioners with the minimum assets will receive $129,812.17 as Supplementary Annual Salary (SAC), not including the extraordinary bonus.
