Two top European clubs are apparently competing for Stuttgart’s Borna Sosa – but they would have to dig deep into their pockets for him.
Stuttgart’s left-back Borna Sosa (24) has apparently attracted the interest of two top clubs. To Sky-Information, Chelsea and Inter Milan are keen on the Croatians. A deal is only planned for next summer.
However, this would be a difficult undertaking, because according to the report, Stuttgart should demand around 30 million euros for Sosa (contract until 2025).
VfB: Villa was also close to Sosa
Last should be loud SkyAston Villa also courted Sosa. Negotiations failed, however, and Villa signed Everton’s Lucas Digne.
Sosa is set to replace Ben Chilwell at Chelsea, who is out for the rest of the season with a cruciate ligament tear and will also miss preparation for the coming season.
Sosa moved from Dinamo Zagreb to Stuttgart in 2018 for six million euros.
In the current season, the left-footed player has played 16 league games (one goal, three assists), but he has been out with back problems for a while.
