Industry: in the Milei era, 1,000 companies have already closed and in the last quarter 60% of unions had layoffs

The information comes from a survey carried out by the Confederation of Industrial Unions of the Argentine Republic (CSIRA), which includes 1,660,000 workersand is based on data from the Superintendence of Occupational Risks (SRT).

In terms of activity, the report reported that 90% of those surveyed perceived a deterioration in 2024while 70% reported a drop in sales and only 3.8% stated that they improved. Production continued the same downward trend.: Almost 80% of the referents indicated that there was a drop in activity and more than 60% reported that this was reflected in fewer work hours.
