The radical leader Ricardo Alfonsínwill present his new strength, Broad Front for Democracy, along with Silvia Saravia, leader of Libres del Sur and Gustavo Lopez of FORJA, which will be used as a political platform in the 2025 elections.
The movement arose after Alfonsín’s resignation from the Radical Civic Union (UCR)at which time he had several meetings with Saravia and López, with whom he formed this new space with which they already undertook tours throughout the Province of Buenos Aires.
Radical and socialist figures joined the party because both Forja and Libres del Sur “They propose to unite progressivism to confront the brutal policies” of President Javier Milei and “recover the democratic pact.”
“Like never in these 41 years, democracy is threatened. For the first time, a president elected by the people does not recognize democracy as the best system of coexistence. With attacks, insults and contempt for institutions, a climate of hatred is generated and intolerance incompatible with republican and democratic values“, indicated the Broad Front for Democracy in a statement.
The central axis of the force is to work “for the Republic” and for “democracy with equity and equal opportunities” without leaving aside education and public health, social justice and the growth of production and work.

The match will be presented this Saturday, November 30 at the San José de Almirante Brown Lions Club at 5:30 p.m.
