Last Thursday, the session in Deputies to discuss the Clean Record project did not have a quorum, which generated disagreements and suspicions between the ruling party and various blocks of the dialogue opposition. That is why this Sunday, the provisional president of the Senate Bartolomé Abdala asked to discuss the initiative in the extraordinary sessions that La Libertad Avanza will call.

In radio statements, Abdala insisted on the importance of approving Clean Record. “We need it, we want it, but well, we didn’t have the votes with all the PRO deputies or with the Libertad Avanza deputies,” he said.

Along the same lines, the senator clarified: “It is an issue that the Executive Branch is going to resolve and if we have all the consensus and votes, it would be important to be able to deal with it in extraordinary sessions,” marking the field on the Government’s priorities, after the crosses with the opposition for not finalizing the approval of the project in Deputies.

Scope

In dialogue with Radio Rivadavia, Abdala pointed out that to approve the PRO project that was truncated last week, “you have to have enough votes,” given that “those numbers are never automatic, they depend a lot on each project,” he explained.

Likewise, he raised the need to “be able to deal with it as soon as possible”, especially if the Government requests sessions for December, despite the fact that, so far, there are no intentions to include the project on the agenda.

Government confirmed that it will promote a new Clean Record bill

The presidential spokesperson, Manuel Adorniconfirmed that the Government will promote a new Clean File project after the collapse on the eve of the initiative promoted by the PRO. “Indeed, the representative (Silvia) Lospennato wrote to (Javier) Milei referring to how sad he felt that the project had not moved forward and “The President committed to promoting a new Clean Record project.”said the official in his traditional press conference at Casa Rosada.

The person who will be in charge of advising the President to finish polishing the new project will be Dr. Alejandro Fargosi.“Adorni explained. The lawyer was appointed Counselor of the Nation’s Judiciary between 2010 and 2014 and today belongs to the Together for Change space.

In his usual press conference at Casa Rosada last Friday, Adorni said that the Government “he does not want corrupt people to occupy positions in the State again” and assured that “at some point the Clean File project is going to be a reality”but warned that “it must have enough reservations so that the bad guys do not leave out the good ones by inventing complaints and making them unable to participate.”
