The survey by Hucap, a consulting firm focused on the strategic management of human capital, change and organizational development, showed that only 24% of the firms have defined the 2025 budget. Within that group, The average percentage increase they are predicting is 52.29%.


By 2024, the average increase is expected to be 127.4%, against an estimated inflation of 112%. “Although this does not completely restore the loss of accumulated purchasing power, it undoubtedly represents encouraging news,” said Natalia Terlizzi, CEO of Hucap.
Fewer salary adjustments expected by 2025
Regarding the amount of salary increases to be granted to personnel outside the agreement, 36.7% of companies will give 7 or more increases this year; 19.7% will provide six; 20% will give five; 16.7% will give four; 7% will provide three.
“Like what was revealed in our latest studies, the trend is accentuated by companies that have reduced some increase points that they had initially planned for their staff outside the agreement, in response to the slowdown in inflation,” Terlizzi CEO of Hucap.
“When delving deeper into the survey, the majority of companies express a trend to provide fewer increases throughout the year by 2025. That is, spacing out salary increases as a result of the slowdown in inflation,” explained the CEO of Hucap.
The survey was carried out between October 24 and November 12 among 72 companies in the areas of retail, services, heavy industry, light industry, food industry, laboratories, health industry, security, logistics, among others.
