Beaten the champions, secured third place and collected money for a good cause – things are going very well for the Steinbach Black Wings at the moment. This weekend, with victories over Vienna and Salzburg, they won the two local derbies and secured third place in the table.

More and more cogs came together again on Sunday in the 3-2 home win over Salzburg. Graham Knott is one of those people. The first-line center, who appeared more as a provider after a difficult start this season, was able to almost double his goal tally. His goals of the season four (5th) and five (22nd) were decisive for the Black Wings. In between, Sean Collins delighted the 4,497 fans with a power play goal (9th).
