Article 1 of the same details: “‘Strategic Value Objectives’ are understood to be any asset, facility or set of fixed facilities and material entities of vital importance to the National State.“which, if partially damaged or destroyed, would cause serious damage to the life and well-being of the country’s inhabitants, its economy, the environment or the Security of the Nation itself, limiting, postponing or preventing its development.”
On the other hand, in the third article, Interinstitutional cooperation is determined by detailing that “the Ministry of Security, based on the ‘Strategic Value Objectives’ that it safeguards through the use of the Federal Police and Security Forces, in compliance of what is determined by the National Executive Branch, may request the support of the Armed Forces or the Provincial Police Corps and the Autonomous City of Buenos Airesin which case it will coordinate its actions with the Ministry of Defense or with the Governments of the Provinces and the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires, as appropriate.”
