After the damage, the flight was canceled and the travelers were transferred to hotels in Asunción, the official said. Aguilar said that the plane was already over Brazilian airspaceshortly after crossing Paraguayan territory, but had to return to Silvio Pettirossi as an alternative airport.
“Thank God, everything is calm, everything is fine,” added the spokesperson, who confirmed that no one on the crew or among the passengers suffered any type of injuries.
