Russian fighter Vyacheslav Datsik, also known as Red Tarzan, turned out to be 33 kg heavier than his rival Zelemkhan Dukaev, nicknamed Machine Gunner.
The fighters went through the weighing procedure before the fights – Datsik showed 124.8 kg on the scales, Dukaev was a quarter lighter – 91.5 kg.
During the “battle of views”, Datsik growled and this made his opponent laugh.
A day earlier, Dukaev shared with Izvestia his expectations from the upcoming fight. According to the fighter, now he has lost his speed, but he managed to recover a little. He stressed that he did not intend to lose to Datsik.
On January 26, Datsik turned to Dukaev and invited him to fight as he “feels comfortable”, and also stated that he was counting on a “beautiful fight”.
On January 22, boxer Maxim Babanin said that Datsik had significantly “added” in boxing and therefore his rival Machine Gunner would have a hard time in the ring. He said that he saw Dukaev’s fights, and if Datsik does the job right, he will win.
“Boxing Evening” will be held on January 28, REN TV will show the fights live. The broadcast will start at 23:00.
The main event of the evening will be the fight between Vyacheslav Datsik and Zelemkhan Dukaev. In other fights of the evening, Maxim Novoselov and Maxim “Ax” Shcherbakov, as well as Pavel Shulsky and Daniyal “T-34” Elbaev will compete.
