NBA: Next defeat for Schröder and Golden State

Once again it’s not enough for basketball star Dennis Schröder and the Golden State Warriors to win. Another German NBA professional can celebrate.

Germany’s basketball star Dennis Schröder suffered another defeat with the Golden State Warriors in the North American professional basketball league NBA. The 31-year-old and his new team lost 92:102 to the Los Angeles Clippers. For the captain of the German national team it was the fourth defeat in the fifth game with the Warriors.

Schröder scored eleven points and handed out five assists. Golden State coach Steve Kerr waived superstars Stephen Curry and Draymond Green against the Clippers in order to rest them for the next game against the Phoenix Suns.

Strong glue wins with Dallas

Maxi Kleber, on the other hand, had a successful evening. The 32-year-old scored 15 points and grabbed seven rebounds in his Dallas Mavericks’ 98:89 win against the Phoenix Suns. The Mavericks will still be without their star player Luka Doncic, who will be out for at least a month with a calf injury.

Daniel Theis is still waiting for a sense of success with the New Orleans Pelicans. In the 124:132 defeat against the Memphis Grizzlies, the 32-year-old had eleven points and eleven rebounds, but was unable to prevent the Pelicans from losing their ninth game in a row.

Without the injured Wagner brothers Franz (torn abdominal muscle fiber) and Moritz (torn cruciate ligament), the Orlando Magic lost clearly 85:108 against the New York Knicks in Florida. The German NBA professional Tristan da Silva was unable to make an impact in this game. In his almost 28 minutes of playing time, the 23-year-old didn’t score a single point. Despite the loss, the Magic remain fourth in the Eastern Conference.
