Russian fighter Zelemkhan “Machine Gunner” Dukaev and his rival Vyacheslav Datsik passed the weigh-in ceremony on the eve of the fight as part of the REN TV Fight Club. This was reported on January 28 by Sport-Express.
It turned out that Datsik is heavier than the “Machine Gunner” by more than 30 kg.
Dukaev spoke about the tactics for the upcoming fight. He noted that he would start attacking from the second round and the target would be the opponent’s liver.
On January 27, “Machine Gunner” shared with “Izvestia” his expectations from the upcoming fight with Datsik. According to the fighter, now he has lost his speed, but he managed to recover a little. Dukaev stressed that he did not intend to lose.
On January 26, Datsik turned to Dukaev and invited him to fight as he “feels comfortable”, and also stated that he was counting on a “beautiful fight”.
On January 22, boxer Maxim Babanin said that Datsik had significantly “added” in boxing and therefore his rival “Machine Gunner” would have a hard time in the ring. The boxer said that he saw Dukaev’s fights and if Datsik does the job right, he will win.
“Boxing Evening” will be held on January 28, REN TV will show the fights live. The broadcast will start at 23:00.
The main event of the evening will be the fight between Vyacheslav Datsik and Zelemkhan “Machine Gunner” Dukaev. In other fights of the evening, Maxim Novoselov and Maxim “Ax” Shcherbakov, as well as Pavel Shulsky and Daniyal “T-34” Elbaev will compete.
