The goalkeeper of the Argentine National Team and Aston Villa made a post on his Instagram account, where his followers highlighted his mistake.
Emiliano “Dibu” Martínez starred in a particular moment on his social networks this Tuesday. On the eve of a new year, the Aston Villa and Argentine National Team goalkeeper uploaded a photographic summary of what his 2024 was like, although he made a mistake that his teammate Rodrigo De Paul did not let him pass.
It was a year full of success for the goalkeeper who qualified Aston Villa for the Champions League for the first time in more than 40 years, in addition to being key in the National Team’s conquest of the Copa América.
All of these achievements helped him win the gold Olimpia Award alongside pilot Franco Colapinto and the award for best goalkeeper in the world for the second time in his career.
